Promoting a book on social media is a great strategy for book marketing. You have nearly your entire readership in the palm of your hands, and you can perfectly curate the message you want them to see.

Because of this, social media can be a quick fix for any book marketing plan, no matter the size of your online presence — if you know how to use it. It’s free, and it can reach readers far and wide. However, you may find yourself wasting valuable time if you don’t know where to start.

When promoting your book on social media, the most important thing you must remember is why people use it. People use social media to connect. Most of the time, people are not looking to spend money, but that doesn’t mean promoting a book won’t serve your larger author marketing goals!
