How Mom Got Back at Motrin

Seriously, when will corporations start taking social media seriously? Hmmm, maybe never or maybe this “Motrin” lesson is something we can all learn from. Check out the hottest thing going on in the blogosphere today, or should I say the Twitter-osphere (is that a word? Well, I guess it is now…). Anyway, here’s the lesson folks: the ‘Net is powerful and please, please, please don’t make bloggers angry and if you do, make sure you have a way to fix it. After the mess this weekend Motrin posted a message to their site which was sort of ho-hum in my view. I’m thinking the powers that be are consuming their own product by the caseloads today. Social media is here to stay and guess what? Whoever knows how to harness the power of it is in the driver’s seat. So who’s driving your marketing campaign?
