New Age is Old News

It seems that the term “New Age” is gradually being retired and those who sell and publish “new age” are looking at a new, more state-of-the-art term: mind/body/spirit. The new term that describes this category seems more marketable and all-encompassing than New Age did and also, because New Age often refers to older teachings that affect the mind, body, or spirit, the term seems unfitting to most who sell this genre. Publishers are now beginning to drop the new age moniker for mind/body/spirit and are seeing an increase in sales for this category as well.
