I have self-published 7 books, all of which have been financially successful, and two of which I sold off to major houses. I have also been hugely successful with two Ebooks. The big houses and the literary agents are stumbling, bumbling, cadavers, devoid of any business sense. They couldn't sell food in a famine. A author with any self-respect should only think of the mainstream publishing houses and agents as an afterthought, choosing instead to consider self-publishing. It is nothing but the truth. I have been trying for some time to get my book published and finally went to an e-book publisher just so I could see it in print. However, that was only ten percent of the work, the biggest part ninety percent is getting it promoted and sold. I have signed up on AdwordGoogle to try to get my work out. I think it is a great controversial book that would be a great discussion piece on any talk show. The book is called Jesus Is No Excuse that deals mainly with explaining that Jesus was a Savior, not an excuse for you to use whenever you sin. Some people only use the name Jesus when it is followed by Forgive Me. The book explains many things that people have questions on concerning the bible such as.. The reason for the crucifixion, did Jesus rise from the dead, why did he appear in another form, or why did he tell his followers to pick up serpents and drink all deadly things. The book also explains why bad things happen to good people and that we are all God made but religion is man-made and that is why people don't understand religion.
